The co...Another great article weblogged by Eric. <br /><br />The concept of stereoscopic 3D space is one that is rarely mentioned, yet is the very essence of perception, whether in real life or as imaged. <br /><br />I like to think of it as a volumetric consist, extending from the nearest perceivable point to the furthest. As such, with reconstructed images, it contains everything within the stereoscopic pyramid. It is not defined by the screen plane, as flat 2D images are, but rather by the whole of the volume imaged.<br /><br />In fact, the exact screen plane cannot be discerned unless the viewing glasses are removed. <br /><br />This permits an impression of immersion that is not constrained by the position in relation to the screen, but allows the person viewing the stereo image to be visually immersed in the volume at any and all points within the scene.stereoscope3d@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02643168063407975022noreply@blogger.com
